Marianne has been performing professionally for over 20 years, showcasing her talents through Live Music that features a dynamic mix of classic rock, Folk and Country music, as well as her original compositions.
She often credits her greatest inspiration to her mother, Mary, who cleverly presented her with a choice each night: practice music or help wash the dishes. Naturally, music prevailed, allowing for countless hours of instrumental and vocal practice.
In addition to her mother, other significant inspirations have included iconic artists such as Mary Travers, Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Jewel, and Miranda Lambert.
Marianne's favorite instruments encompass guitar and various stringed instruments, piano, and drums, all integral to her diverse sound.
Nicky's inspirations for music began in childhood, as he listened to his father play the violin and trumpet for a Polka Band in PA. He kicked off his music journey on the trumpet, taking his first gig in 7th grade, performing classic rock tunes reminiscent of Herb Alpert's style. Nicky has always been captivated by the sound and feel of the bass, and at the age of 12, his father gifted him a Fender bass and amp, leading him to play live music at various gigs ever since. His influences span an array of genres, particularly spanning metal, Folk and Country music, jazz, blues, and of course, Polka music. Over the years, Nicky has played in different types of bands simultaneously and has gained recording experience by laying down bass tracks on several metal and country albums.
